Telesilla | Under the Light of the Full Moon | Global Poetry and Ancient Echoes

26 September 2026

Under the Moonlight brings poetry and harp beneath the Argive full moon.

Dear friends,

There are moments when time ceases to be a straight line and becomes a circle that holds us all. On September 26, 2026, we await you in Argos, at the Threshing Floor  of ElaGaia, for a gathering that rejects the noise of our era.Telesilla returns. Not as a dry history lesson, but as a living evocation of feminine power and international peace. On a night washed by the Full Moon, internationally acclaimed harpist Dianne Tittle de Laet,  performer Sofia Morou, and violin soloist Nikolaos Papaioannou, will guide us through a ritual of five musical and poetic movements (Opus). From the ancient invocation of the Argive poet Telesilla and the midnight whispers of Sappho, to the unconquered voice of Emily Brontë, the night sky is transformed into a cosmic lyre. The evening will commence with an opening address by the distinguished philologist and author Mr. Alexis Totsikas, and will culminate at the Second Threshing Floor (“Aloni”) with an exploration of Francesco Moretti’s Sculpture Exhibition.

Join us as we walk together through this mysticism, where ancient memory meets the modern pulse.
